LED Wins National Award at The EW Awards 2026
Lancashire Electrical Distributors (LED) is celebrating after being named Best Wholesaler – 1–5 Branches at the prestigious 2026 Electrical Wholesaler Awards, held in London.
The national awards celebrate excellence across the UK electrical industry, recognising the wholesalers, manufacturers, brands and individuals that continue to raise standards within the sector.
For LED, winning the Best Wholesaler – 1–5 Branches category is a particularly proud achievement and marks an important milestone for the independent business.
Over 40 Years in the Electrical Industry
Established in 1984, Lancashire Electrical Distributors has been supplying electricians, contractors and businesses across Greater Manchester and the North West for more than 40 years.
Today, LED operates from two branches in Stockport and Oldham, supplying an extensive range of electrical products, lighting, ventilation, fire and security products, EV charging equipment, tools, workwear and PPE.
Despite the business continuing to grow, LED remains focused on the qualities that have always been at the heart of an independent electrical wholesaler: competitive pricing, knowledgeable staff, reliable stock availability and a personal service.
Same-day delivery on stock items is another service the company prides itself on, helping customers get the products they need quickly and keeping projects moving.
Looking to the Future
The award comes as LED continues to build on more than four decades of experience within the electrical industry.
With two branches, an expanding product and service offering and a growing customer base across Greater Manchester and the wider North West, the business is looking forward to the next stage of its development.
While the company continues to evolve, its focus remains firmly on providing the knowledgeable, reliable and personal service that has been at the heart of LED since 1984.
Best Wholesaler – 1–5 Branches 2026 is a proud achievement for the entire LED team and we want to thank all of our incredible employees for their hard work and dedication as well as everyone who voted for us.
